Description
Ho Ho Springs was a recreational resort built in 1890 by Joseph Has Brouck, a San Francisco stockbroker and principal with Bancroft-Whitney Law Publishing Company. The rustic Camp Ho Ho property, on the slopes of today's 965 Magnolia Avenue in Larkspur, included five cabins and tents for guests and an open-air pavilion where meals were served. The site was named Ho Ho after a mythical Chinese bird which brings good luck.
