Description
Dorothy Freeman lived in Temecula, CA on a twenty-acre reservation that had optimal grounds for grape cultivation. She helped her family prune grapes as a young girl where they would produce wine and sell it discretly at her father's store during Prohibition. Heintz learned about the small bootlegging operations some viticulturists were involved in during this interview.
