"Tents often serve as meeting places for new congregations while buildings are being constructed. Not much by American standards, nevertheless, they attract scores of grown-ups and twice as many children for services and Bible study." A group portrait of a South Korean Church of Christ congregation who met in a tent (pictured in the background) as their church building was being constructed. This is one of several congregations planted by American missionaries and South Korean evangelists from Churches of Christ following the armistice agreement in 1953.
