Description
A woman, in the costume of a "woman of quality" during the reign of Charles VII, wears a long sleeved, v-neck dress. The dress is magenta with an emerald green collar, cuffs, and hem. Her overdress is raised, probably in her left hand, showing the violet underskirt. She wears a black hennin with a long veil. Under the hennin, she wears a small veil, which covers her forehead and the back of her neck. A gold and black belt defines the high waist line. Grass and trees are in the distance with the tower of a chateau showing on the right.
