Photograph of Pioneer Monument at the entrance to Devore Canyon on the Sycamore Valley Ranch, 1915. A tall monolith stands at the foot of a hill at center, with a plaque affixed to its front. A similarly-designed sign pointing to the monument stands a little farther in the foreground to the right. The text on the plaque reads "Sycamore Valley Ranch. / Formerly Called Sycamore Grove / First camp of the pioneers / June 1851 / Capt. Jefferson Hunt, Amasa Lyman, Charles C. Rich, David Seely, Andrew Lytle.".
