Description
Photograph of the flooded San Gabriel River looking northwest in Azusa, 1938. The river flows from the left foreground to the right distance. It appears to wash through a bridge which extends across the foreground, but does not flood the bridge further back. Water seeps through the trees and plants on the right. The small streams of water reach what appears to be a concrete canal on the far right. Clouds hang over the mountains in the background. Photoprint reads: "This photograph is loaned to you. Please return to: Illustrator. L.A. City Planning Dept. Rm.361 F City Hall, Los Angeles, California".
