Photograph of a furniture store in Sierra County taken ca. 1888. Scales Store-- making for move to Port Wine--5 to 7 miles. 68 Later than above: this is when episode I've oft' told about- took place. Papa's little girl. China town was on hill back of these bldgs. I "betcha" battles could be found there. Folks: Auntie from left to right. Gene Caya Farren-- Myrtle (in chair) & Pearl in arms Mose. Ham & little daughter Bertie. One of the friends-- Haverstick (I think) rear. May Morse Ham. Mr. & Mrs. Cowden-- neighbors across street later to Palto Alto-- Fine people and among the many same type who later moved to PA. Kelly's little down street from us.
