Description
Photograph of the exteriors of squatters' huts in San Pedro that were torn down when the piers were pulled down, ca.1936. The huts are built on a pier, and are all simple buildings made of wood there are six or seven clearly visible. There are two boats near the supports of the pier, and another boat in the foreground. The one in the foreground is a small sailboat with its sail stowed but still visible on the mast. The water is calm and unevenly reflects the image of the pier.
