Designed by Clifford A. Balch in 1919, the Hollywood Theatre was first remodeled in 1927, then again in 1936 by S. Charles Lee, and once more in 1977. It became the venue for the Guinness Book of World Records in the early 1990s.
Looking west from outside the Hollywood Theatre, 6764 Hollywood Blvd., at night. The marquee lists the double feature of The Outsiders and Spring Break, May 1983.
