Description
This was likely a performance in San Francisco of the travelling program. The Ice Follies, formerly known as the Shipstads & Johnson Ice Follies, was a touring ice show featuring elaborate production numbers, similar in concept to Ice Capades. It was founded in 1936 by Eddie Shipstad, Roy Shipstad, and Oscar Johnson, who also skated in the show. Edwards has noted on the cover, "Went with Jack Reisere. Had dinner at his home in Redwood first. Some friends of Jack's went with us. Drove to S.J. after. Ate at Tiny's." Features advertisements for many San Francisco night clubs and hot spots.
