Image of an outdoor courtyard with two servants and a man pushing two baby carriages and holding crying babies while onlookers watch; with vignettes of head-and-shoulder portraits of German comedian George S. Knight and his wife, American burlesque performer Sophie Worrell Knight, at bottom center; fragment of a date sheet for the Fulton Opera House in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, pasted at bottom; the poster advertises the musical and burlesque show "Over the Garden Wall" by Scott Marble that was produced by the Knights.
Probable date based on general show history; the show opened around early 1885. "A.S. Seer's Union Sq. Litho-Print, N.Y."--text, bottom right margin. "Snitz- 'Here dey vas, took yuor pick!"--text, bottom left of image.
