Photograph was edited for publication purposes. Photograph has two small tears in the upper part of the photo. Photograph caption dated March 1, 1965 reads "Wayne Hatt of Valley College is about to be pinned by El Camino's Tom McCann in top photo, and to right [pictured] Cerritos' Steve Johnson is atop the Monarchs' Ted Williams, as referee holds two fingers aloft signifying Johnson had just scored two points. Action came in Saturday's Metropolitan Conference wrestling finals in Valley College gym, won by El Camino with 103 total points. Valley finished fourth with 22 points, while El Camino's Ted Dean was named Outstanding Players [sic] of the Tournament." Valley College is in Van Nuys.
