Description
Photograph of a close-up of the largest bell in the bell tower of Mission San Gabriel from the rear, ca.1900. The tarnished bell hangs from pieces of vandalized wood at center. The stone windows it hangs in is molded and discolored. Trees can be seen on the other side of the bell in the background. Part of the inscription on the bell gives the date of "1830".
