Pollock continues his reflection of specific memories that he has in the Fresno Assembly Center. He writes in vast detail about daily life in the Assembly Center, and about the Japanese population that he encountered while working there. Walter E. Pollock was the head of the service division at the Fresno Assembly Center. He was deeply affected by his time working at the center and was working on a memoir of his experiences there, but unfortunately passed away before it could be completed.
