Description
During the strike, some volunteered to act as observers at the picketing of the studios. Shown here from left to right are, Renee Rubin, friend ; Mrs. Joseph Losey, wife of MGM director ; Marsha Hunt, actress ; and Robert Presnell, Jr., screen writer shown sitting on a curb during the strike at Warner Brothers' Studio which began on October 5, 1945. Marsha said, "I am just observing as a citizen and hoping for the end of the strike." Photo dated: Tuesday, October 16, 1945.
