The entire 1931 French Zig-Zag Moderne style complex, which includes ground floor businesses, the Wiltern Theatre, and the Pellissier Building, was designed by Stiles O. Clements and is a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument Caption of verso of photograph reads, "Warner Bros. Western Theater, the $2,000,000 edifice at the intersection 'where all roads meet,' at Western and Wilshire Boulevard, which is to open with a gala premiere, Wednesday, October 7th. First night's attraction at the theater is George Arliss in "Alexander Hamilton."
