Description
Two seated men playing chess. The man on the left is Max Watson; the man on the right is not identified. Max Watson was an arborist and he owned horticultural and tree nurseries. He had a particular interest in Eucalyptus trees and he donated seedlings for the Eucalyptus groves at Vasona Lake County Park and at the UC Santa Cruz Arboretum.
