Description
Photograph of a sketch of the San Bernardino Mission by H.C. Ford, 1881. The fallen adobe walls of the mission stand at center, behind which a small shack can be seen. Two other, smaller shacks stand to the left and the right. Clusters of short trees line the back of the scene, behind which a mountain ridge is visible, dipping in lower towards the center. Writing at the bottom left of the sketch reads "Work of Henry Chapman Ford [...]" while writing at the right reads "Ruins of San Bernardino Mission sts/2.00".
