Photograph of a courtyard in an old adobe near the Hotel Raymond in Pasadena, July 31, 1934. The courtyard is at right and is covered with square terracotta tiles. The adobe house can be seen at left and has light-colored walls and a terracotta tile roof. A small set of steps leads to a wooden doorway in the foreground, while an open window can be seen as well. Dried peppers and corn are hung on either side of the doorway. A set of steps leads to a wooden gate at center. A pepper tree can be seen in the background at center, while several small cactus plants can be seen in the courtyard.
