Written on photograph: Grindstone Dance House. Dancers in ceremonial garb. Dancers: Left - Earl Cook, Right - unknown. The early day dancers performed nude. Complaints of indecency were made because of visitors attending the dances and it was suggested that the bottom half of men's long johns be worn. .
