The body of Senobio Navarez (arrow), 40, lies on the concrete river bed after a 100-foot suicide leap from the First Street bridge. Police say the leap apparently was a result of Navarez's despondency over financial difficulties. He lived at 3311 Amethyst Street. Photo dated June 10, 1948.
