Description
This postcard shows a view from the Huntington Palisades development of a sunset over the Lighthouse Cafe. The Lighthouse was a beach house, restaurant, and cafe, and later the lifeguard headquarters. It marks the spot where the Long Wharf once projected into the Bay. On reverse: [printed] Coastal Highway and beach parallel at the famous Palisades where numerous beach clubs and public and private beaches abound.
