Image of a hippopotamus in the wild rising out of water with a gaping mouth; "The World's Largest Circus" circular logo at top right; date sheet for an August 19, [1963], show in Olean, New York, pasted below image.
Full name of artist supplied by cataloger; probable date based on month and day provided in item text and circus history; the circus began shows in the 1959 season. "R.B."--text, artist's initials, bottom left in print. "No. 87 - CB"--text, bottom left margin. "Olean / Little League Forness Park / Auspices: Cattaraugus Co. Shrine Club / 4 & 8 P. M. / Mon. / Aug. 19"--text, date sheet at bottom.
