Photograph caption dated February 28, 1958 reads, "Burbank High's Wayne Dunkerley will be seen in action tonight against Mt. Carmel as CIF basketball playoffs resume. Dunkerley has been a spark plug all season long for Coach Roy Lockwood's Burbank Bulldogs. Mt. Carmel, Catholic League champion, is a slight favorite to win tonight's tussel at Glendale City College."
