Description

Women in dresses, coats, carrying purses and wearing feathered hats -- view 2 (2009-3292). Family portrait of husband, wife and two children. Woman and young girl in dresses, coats, wearing large hats. John Baldwin arrived in California by 1874. Was active as a photographer in several cities, including Sacramento. In Sacramento operated out of a gallery on J Street in the 1880's.
