They close slowly with up and down jerks and tugging." The article partially reads, "Nowhere in San Fernando Valley-or anywhere else-is there another private dwelling like the Peppermans' 'outlawed' $50,000 Northridge home, where they have resided with their children since July, 1961...it holds the dismal distinction of being described in the State Assembly's Daily Journal as 'a striking example of faulty building in California.'
