In: [Scenes of Sacramento] [manuscript] / Eugene Walter Hepting. [Sacramento, Calif. : E. Hepting, 1938?], Vol. C, leaf 44.
Large Victorian building sits on the corner with a multi-storey building rising on ths its right side; a "To Lease" sign sits on the corner in front; the entrance to the home is reached by a staircase from left sidewalk;the home is 2 stories with a basement level; a tower with an angular pyramidal shape is located directly on the corner and rises one floor more; cars are paraked parallel on the street on both sides of the corner; leafless tree trunks rise on the right side of the building at the curb.
Walter Hepting was born in Sacramento (father was from Switzerland, mother from Germany). Worked for the State Treasurer's Office. Was amateur historian, collected old photographs and images of Sacramento.
