Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the Van Nuys Hotel on the corner of Fourth Street and Main Street in Los Angeles, 1905. The six story hotel can be seen at center. It is a rectangular building with rows of square windows on every floor. Awnings cover many of the windows. Larger awnings can be seen on the first floor, where several shops are located. Two dirt roads intersect at left, and many pedestrians can be seen around the intersection. Streetcar tracks run down the middle of the road, while wires can be seen overhead.
