Photograph of a view of the old Hall of Records building and the newer Criminal Courts building from across Broadway at the County Mall in Los Angeles, October 1, 1972. The Hall of Records is at right and is a looming Gothic-style building with narrow rectangular windows around its entire perimeter. The larger Criminal Courts building is at left and is a rectangular building with rows of well lit windows. A street light can be seen in the foreground at left, while the top of the City Hall tower is visible in the background at right.
