Description
The Gutenberg Window located in the main reading room of the Denison Library. The principal medallions of the window were chosen to illustrate the progress and conservation of learning through the mediums of legend, the written alphabet, and the arts of printing and illustration. The large figure of Gutenberg is the dominating figure of the window as the primary personality who ushered in the era of printing.
