Description: Shown in circa 1940 is the Welcome Grove Auto Court, set on business route 40. Opened in 1927, the postcard declares “Welcome Grove Auto Court – One Mile, West of State Capitol on Hiways 40-99 W. Sacramento Calif.” Note the Richfield service station that's attached to the auto court.
