Description
An overhead view of a rock formation with a small cave opening at the Levi Goodrich Freestone Quarry. A man lays half in the cave and the rocks are surrounded by dry brush. Levi Goodrich was a key local architect and designed such buildings as the San Jose Post Office and several early San Jose business buildings. He also opened a sandstone quarry east of the New Almaden Quicksilver mines.
