Description
A panoramic view of Terminal Island and the back bay from the terminal. Terminal Island is part of the cities of Long Beach and San Pedro, Los Angeles. There are numerous ships along the pier in the center of the image, some barges, some with smoke stacks, and a couple tall ships with four masts. The area to the left of the pier is filled with cargo, and there is a low building with large piles of lumber around it. The exact location of this photograph was not specified. The land on the far side of the back bay is hilly, with little development away from the waterfront. Writing in white in lower left corner reads "Pierce ; 8014".
