A small cottage is set among bushes near the shore. A note in the album indicates that the photograph was taken near Si Lien Tao, North Kiangsu [now Jiangsu] where the Morgan family spent the summer. Lorenzo and Ruth Bennett Morgan were American medical missionaries in the Jiangsu and Anhui provinces of China, serving under the Presbyterian and Methodist mission boards from 1905 to 1946.
