Description
Photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on April 15, 1966 states: "Boo Boo the bear laps up honey at the Folsom Zoo. Manning the spoon is Gordon Brong, zoo superintendent. The 3-month-old California black bear is the zoo's newest addition. It was donated by the State Fish and Game Department and is a native of the countryside near Burney, Shasta County."
