Description
Painters painting the 100-inch telescope dome, Mount Wilson Observatory. Several unidentified painters stand on the domed roof by a ladder. A portion of the observatory building is seen, including the domed roof, a balcony and windows near ground level. A large ladder with scaffolding leans against the building. Another wooden ladder is seen on the ground, near the building. Wires stretch from the top of the tall ladder to an unseen anchor off the left-hand side of the photograph. Trees are in the distant background.
