"Ground-breaking ceremonies took place May 25 on the $2 1/2 million office building for Welton Becket and Associates, the first unit of Century City. The five-level structure will be international headquarters of the Becket firm, the largest architectural and engineering firm in the West" -- typed note attached to verso. Verso dated, "May 26, 1959". "Please Credit: Welton Becket F.A.I.A and Associates, Architects and Engineers, 5857 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles [...] California" -- stamped on the note.
