Description
Depicted in circa 1940 is Sacramento's Tower Bridge, as seen from the West Sacramento, California. Built in 1935, the bridge's name was taken from a naming contest. Although Tower was chosen in respect to the structure's lift towers, other entries included West Portal, Pioneer, and 49er.
