Photograph caption dated July 1, 1961 reads, "Brownies in Troop 312 have a Brownie Flag to wave on the Fourth of July following a successful Girl Scout cookie sale. Here Mrs. Ruth Chaise, chairman of El Camino district of Girl Scouts of America, gives the flag to Patricia Perry and Susan Clifford, both 7, members of the troop led by Mmes. Forest B. Nelson and James Hovey."
