Description
Photograph of Air Force Lockheed F-94C jet in flight, showing the plane tilted on its side, ca.1960. At center, the underside of a large U.S. Air Force jet is shown as the jet tilts to the left. The jet has a perfectly cylindrical body except for its rounded nose. A long metal rod can be seen extending from the beak away from the plane. A large star-shaped emblem is visible both on the fuselage near the tail and the right wing. On either wing edge, a streamlined fuel tank is attached. To the left, the jet's engine thruster is visible and attached to the jet's body. On either side of the engine, small wings near the tail extend from the fuselage of the plane.
