He is holding a tool in his right hand, is facing right, and is looking at a large, oblong tire. Soiled windows are visible in the background. Photoprint reads: "Robert Woodcock is about to finish a huge 27.00-33 36 ply US Royal Con-Trale-Ton tire. Tire is revolving and he his about to scribe a mark to use as a guide when he applies chafing strips".
