Description
Photograph caption dated March 8, 1957 reads "Winners of the powerful Burbank Triple A basketball league championship were Bill Arrington's Valley Hot Shots, shown here, who posted an unbeaten record of 15 victories. It was the club's first undefeated season since organized in 1944 and in a three-year span it won 76 games and lost only eight. Pictured, from left, are: Front--Mike Towery, Dennis Houstman, Don Fluke, Jess Barranza [sic], captain, Jim Stehlik and Glen Gale; rear--Kelly Huston, John Myers, Gary Robinson, Mike Tredick, Mike Cusanovich, Buddy Daniels and coach and sponsor Bill Arrington."
