Photograph caption dated April 23, 1956 reads, "Launching full operating schedule at San Fernando Service Center of Sears, Roebuck and Co., 1700 First St., are, from left, James Wallischeck, Harry Viten, manager, and Paul Minger. Center will be manned by force of 100 factory - trained personnel and stocked with more than 20,000 repair parts items."
