Danish Santal Mission is, in cooperation with other organisations in Denmark, Sweden and German Nr. 13 – Dansk Santalmission er sammen med andre organisationer i Danmark, Sverige og Tyskland engageret i Projekt Vestens Unge. Hvert år sendes unge kristne frivillige bl.a. til Nepal i forsøg på at hjælpe de vestlige unge, som får problemer i Østen. Opgaven er at være til stede som kristen der, hvor de unge kommer og færdes. Volontørerne opsøger dem på caféer og hoteller, på meditations- og yogakurser, på trekking i bjergene, mv. De kan kun tilbyde sig selv, deres viden og tro, men det er også nok. Unge kan få hjælp til praktiske og sociale problemer, til kritisk dialog om de forskellige religioner, og hvis de ønsker det, høre mere om kristendommen. Det inkluderer også tilbud om at være med i et kristent fællesskab. (Foto 1986)

Danish Santal Mission is, in cooperation with other organisations in Denmark, Sweden and Germany, engaged in the Western Youth Project. Each year young Christian volunteers are sent to e.g. Nepal, as an attempt to assist the young Westerners facing problems in the East. The task is to be present as Christians, at places where young people are gathering. The volunteers contact them at cafés and hotels, on meditation and yoga courses, during trekking in the mountains etc. They can only offer themselves, their knowledge and faith. However, this is also enough. Young people may be assisted with practical and social problems, with critical dialogue about different religions – and if wanted, learn more about Christianity. This also includes invitation to participate in a Christian fellowship. (Photo 1986).
