Photo shows what the final atom bomb test looked like from Los Angeles, 300 miles away from Yucca Flat proving grounds in Nevada. A momentary 'aurora borealis' swept away the darkness and silhouetted downtown Los Angeles. Photograph dated June 5, 1952.
