Description
Bust-length portrait.
1990-1675.
Thomas D. Littlefield;
Born in Brunswick, Maine in 1826. Was sailor and machinist. Came to California in 1849 where spent time in mines. Eventually settled in Sacramento, where was engineer on river steamers running the Sacramento River between 1850 and 1890 (steamer Dover, H.T. Clay among others). Worked for Steamship Navigation Company, Sacramento Transportation Company. Died in 1902.
