Description
Photograph caption dated April 10, 1950 reads, "Khyber Pass, Schmoe, uniquely named Afghan of Marshall Tate, Van Nuys tile contractor, will be one of many Afghans competing this spring and summer in Santa Paula, Santa Ana and Harbor City dog shows. While not toting camera case, Schmoe likes to run. Tate says the huge hound has run down jack rabbits in hunting trips into the Valley foothills."
