Description
Abstract of title to 10.50 acres, part of 500 acre lot No. 2 South made at the request of V. Koch. Inside title: "Abstract of the Pueblo Title Derived Under Acts of the Legislature of the State of California Through the Commissioners of the Funded Debt of the City of San Jose." Includes hand-drawn color map: Beginning at a stake marked J.T.C.E.K. standing in the fence on the West line of lands of the Southern Pacific Railroad Company, and at the South East corner of lands conveyed by John T. Colahan to Elizabeth Kohrs by deed dated August 17, 1883, and recorded same day in Liber 69 of Deeds at pages 267 et. seq. records of Santa Clara County, and from said stake running along the Westerly line of lands of said Railroad Company S 38 3/4 degrees E 11.00 chs more or less to the Northerly line of lands conveyed by said John T. Colahan to San Jose and Almaden Railroad Company, by deed dated March 18, 1886 and recorded July 29, 1886 in Liber 86 of Deeds at pages 167 et. seq. records of Santa Clara County; thence along the fence on the Northerly line of lands so conveyed to said last named Railroad Company to lands of Promis, (formerly of the San Juan Bautista Mining Company); thence along the fence line separating the lands of Promis from the lands herein described N 44 28 W 7.02 chs to a stake and N 60 19 W 4.37 chs to a tstake marked J.T.C.&E.K. standing at the SouthWest corner of said lands of Elizabeth Kohrs, and thence along the fence on the Southerly line of said lands of Kohrs N 51 3/4 E 11.00 chs to the place of beginning. Containing 10.50 acres more or less, and being a part of 500 acre Lot No. 2 South of the Pueblo Lands of the City of San Jose. Subsequent to June 9th, 1866. Transactions: J.A.
