Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the Mary Andrews Clark Memorial Home for Young Women in Los Angeles, August 24, 1927. The massive brick Gothic-style mansion is at center and stretches across the entire image. It is U-shaped, with the two outer wings jutting out towards the viewer. There is a large round tower at center and two very high towers or chimneys behind the building. A small set of steps leads to the courtyard created by the building and a hedge forms a perimeter around the yard. There is a sidewalk and a line of trees in the foreground.
