Description: Members of the Los Angeles Women's Committee for relief of unemployed women today registered women who are seeking employment as the committee opened a drive to provide jobs and homes for 1000 women within three weeks. Left to right: Mrs. Julia Von Sky, co-chairman; Mrs. Susan B. Lage; Mrs. Henry H. Lissner, chairman; Mrs. Mabel E. Patton, and four women seeking employment. The committee plans to aid women who face the necessity of earning their own livings for the first time, as well as regularly employed women now out of work. Photo dated: April 18, 1932.
